As you published Mr. Ames's Song, * please to publish the
following tale; our secretary has been very busy or he
should have made a supplement to the Almanack to put it in,
but that shall come out next time we write, adorn'd with
proper cuts, &c. this is but a short abridgment of the
whole. We really intended to have taken no notice of such
nonsense, but we are forced to it as people blame us for
letting such gross ignorance and i---p-d--ce go unpunish'd.
To tell a tale I' sure no man can blame us,
Of obstinate Urania Ignoramus;
A man whom best of friends cannot perswade
To write the truth, and leave the lying trade. . .
